Located between the traditional block-structure of the original main school building and small 2-storey row houses situated along the lakes in Copenhagen - the new school building is a separate element, a sculptural composition. The main intention was to create a building that expresses the transition between the larger scale of the block-structure and the smaller and more intimate scale of the row houses.

The new building consists of three architectural elements: the imprint of the terrain, the volume and the screen.
